The Dallas Stars are on the brink of advancing to the Western Conference Finals, holding a 3-1 series lead over the Winnipeg Jets heading into Game 5 tonight at Canada Life Centre.

Dallas secured a 3-1 victory in Game 4, fueled by Mikael Granlund’s hat trick, while goaltender Jake Oettinger continued his strong postseason performance, stopping 24 of 26 shots. The Stars have dominated the series, winning three of the last four matchups, and are looking to close out Winnipeg on the road.

The Jets, however, are desperate to extend their season. Connor Hellebuyck, who has struggled on the road, will need a standout performance to keep Winnipeg alive. The Jets have gone 4-6 in their last 10 games, averaging 2.5 goals per game, while Dallas has been 7-3, scoring 3.1 goals per game.

If the Stars win tonight, they will advance to face the Edmonton Oilers in the Western Conference Finals, setting up a highly anticipated showdown.

Puck drop is set for 8:30 PM CT, with national coverage on TNT, truTV, and MAX.
