A Dallas teenager was gunned down in Oak Cliff last night.

Just before 9 p.m. Sunday, Dallas police found a car crashed on Easter Avenue near East Illinois and South Lancaster. Checking the driver, they found he'd been shot.

Ambulances rushed him to Dallas Methodist Hospital where he died about 20 minutes later. A passenger was also hurt in the crash and was treated and released from the hospital.

Dallas police believe the two had just been involved in a robbery.

This morning, the driver who died was identified by the Dallas County Medical Examiner. Officials say 17-year-old Keymere McCriston was a standout Junior running back at Carter High School.
