Dallas City Council Member Jaime Resendez will open a COVID-19 vaccination registration site in his district this weekend, He wants to help people who may have difficulty navigating the registration process on their own.
"Our community has a large percentage of households that lack internet access and many individuals who, for various reasons, feel more comfortable receiving in-person assistance to navigate the vaccine registration process," he said.
The registration site will be located at the Pleasant Oaks Recreation Center on Greenmound Avenue. It will be open on Sunday, January 31st from 11:00am until 4:00pm. No appointment is necessary. Staffers will enforce social distancing guidelines and face masks will be required.
