We're getting our first look at the Dallas Zoo's new baby giraffe born last week.
Zoo officials say the newborn was a healthy 135 pounds and she stands about five feet tall.
Zoo staffers say she remained out of sight with mom Katie over the weekend. But Monday, she began to venture out into the giraffe feeding yard. So, you may get a glimpse of her but there's no set schedule for her appearances.
