The Ellis County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday they will start a death investigation after a sanitation worker found a dead baby.
A sanitation worker made a horrible discovery while they were on their trash route in Red Oak where a baby was found dead around 1:45 p.m. Thursday.
Ellis officials received a call from a sanitation worker who said they found the baby in the 1300 block of Saint Andrews Drive. Investigators are on the scene and no other information was released as of Friday.
