Nearly two decades after some remains were found in east Texas, they have finally been connected to an Arlington woman who had vanished several years earlier.
In 2002, skeletal remains were found by highway construction workers close to I-20 in Liberty City, near Longview.
At the time, DNA technology did not reveal enough information to identify the remains which were a skull and a few bones.
But now the technology has improved and investigators were able to find a daughter of a woman named Pamela Darlene Young, and through a DNA match Young's identity has been confirmed.
But the mystery remains, how did she die? Investigators did identify a person-of-interest but say he died five years ago.
