A popular Dallas concert venue is reverting to its original, iconic name.
The venue, formerly known as The Factory in Deep Ellum, will once again be called The Bomb Factory. Director of Operations Tiya Nguyen said the name change has sparked nostalgia among those who worked and performed at the venue in the 1990s.
The building has a storied history, originally serving as a munitions plant during World War II. As part of the rebranding, the venue has brought back decommissioned bombs for display — safely, of course — to honor its past.
The Bomb Factory remains a staple of Dallas’ Deep Ellum music scene, hosting a variety of live performances and events.
