Last week's woes with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine caused delays in Dallas's in-home vaccination program meaning it will begin today.
Dallas Fire-Rescue and the Visiting Nurse Association of Dallas will give Moderna shots to residents enrolled in the Meals on Wheels program starting today.
Unlike the one-dose J&J vaccine. Moderna's requires two shots spaced about a month apart so the medical personel will have to return.
The groups had planned to use Johnson & Johnson vaccines starting last Tuesday but the city canceled that plan the government suspended its use to review reports of blood clots.
