Since the beginning of the week, airports have been experiencing a mass wave of flight disruptions due to severe weather and poor air quality. To make matters worse, AAA predicts a record-breaking amount of travelers are expected this Fourth of July weekend.
An estimated 50.7 million Americans are forecast to travel, according to AAA. That’s nearly 2.1 million more travelers than last year’s holiday and almost 1.8 million more than the previous high, set in 2019.
