DENTON (1080 KRLD)- A Denton school bus driver has been placed on leave after being accused of driving erratically.
According to the Denton Record Chronicle, Tuesday afternoon the mother of a student called police about the concerning driving. She says she actually tried to confront the bus driver but tells police as she stood in the doorway - he slammed the door on her several times.
When police got to the scene kids on the bus said the driver had slammed on the brakes causing them to hit their heads. The kids were taken home that day on a different bus with a different driver. Meanwhile, the district has placed the driver on leave while police investigate.
