Felony indictments have been returned against a Lewisville woman who is accused of a drunk driving wreck that killed a teenager and seriously injured his brother.
On December 18th, 18-year-old Hayden Hooper and his 12-year-old brother were walking on a sidewalk near their hotel in Lewisville. Their mother was a few steps behind. That's when Matt Martucci of Lewisville Police says a car driven by 31-year-old Erin Simms crossed the centerline and got into a head-on wreck.
Hayden was killed, the 12-year-old was critically injured and their mother saw it all.
Now a grand jury in Denton has indicted Simms for intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.
