There's a mess to clean up at a Denton home where a fire broke out Thursday.
Firefighters were told the house on Country Home Drive was burning and they arrived to find smoke and flames coming mainly from and above the garage. The home was occupied but no one seemed to be hurt.
There were two earlier fires in Denton. An apartment building fire on West Mulberry damaged four units and the Red Cross helped seven people who needed a place to stay.
And there was an electrical fire at the Waffle House on I-35 near University Drive, but that was mostly smoke and there was no extensive damage.
