A Denton ISD employee is recovering in the hospital after getting run over by a school bus early Thursday morning.
The accident happened on East Mckinney Street near Ryan High School. Police say a bus monitor was on foot when the bus struck her.
It's unclear if the tires rolled over her, but police say the undercarriage of the bus definitely hit her more than once.
Miraculously, the bus monitor is expected to be fine. She was transported to a local hospital and treated for non life-threatening injures. No students were around when she was run over.
Police say someone was manning the bus at the time, but it's unclear right now what exactly happened.
