Denton police say a man was shot and killed after a disturbance Sunday afternoon.
Denton police don't know at this point who 19-year-old Cody Stewart had a dispute with. They got a 9-1-1 call just after 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon about a man lying in the road on Normal Street who was unresponsive.
When officers and EMS crews arrived they determined Stewart had a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital but died a short time later.
Police say their investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
