DeSoto (1080 KRLD)- A jail escapee has been recaptured in DeSoto after making a break for it while being transported to the DeSoto Regional Jail.
Police say Jonathon Harlan made a break for it in the sally port at the jail and was last seen running for it into a field north of DeSoto PD headquarters. He was handcuffed and wearing a hospital gown so he did not get far. However, police did warn those in the neighborhood to be careful and to keep an eye out.

DeSoto police had help from Duncanville and Cedar Hill and just before 10 a.m. Thursday they announced that Harlan had been re-captured. They have not said why he was in jail to begin with nor why he was wearing a hospital gown.
