A DeSoto man is facing federal sex trafficking charges, accused of forcing multiple women — including a minor — to perform sex acts for money.
A federal grand jury has indicted 39-year-old Felix Omoruyi on charges of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and sex trafficking of a minor.
Court documents accuse Omoruyi of trafficking five adult women in Texas and elsewhere between 2007 and 2025, including one who was a minor when the alleged trafficking began.
He's also accused of trying to destroy evidence and contacting victims and witnesses to influence their statements after his arrest last November.
If convicted, Omoruyi faces 15 years to life in federal prison and mandatory restitution.
