PARKER COUNTY (1080 KRLD)- Parker County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 17-year-old suspected in a string of car burglaries in Aledo, thanks to tips they got from a new app.
Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier says the department implemented tip411 last week, and already it has led to a big arrest.
"Once we released the suspects' photographs on social media, we immediately began receiving numerous tips identifying the suspects," said Sheriff Authier. "Our CID investigators located and arrested the male suspect within hours. The tips submitted also helped our investigators identify and locate the female suspect. We would like to thank the public for their assistance in this case."
Detectives arrested 17-year-old Morgan Fitzgerald on several charges including credit card abuse and a prior warrant for manufacturing delivery of a controlled substance. He also faces additional charges and bond was set at $30,000. Charges against the female are pending.
