Parking at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is getting more expensive beginning Oct. 1, but the final price will depend on how you pay.
DFW Airport is introducing separate drive-up rates for TollTag and credit-card customers. TollTag users will generally pay less, while travelers who reserve parking in advance can continue to save as much as 50% compared with drive-up prices.
The biggest change comes at the terminals.
Terminal parking currently tops out at $32 for six to 24 hours. Beginning Oct. 1, that rises to $37 for customers using a TollTag and $40 for customers paying by credit card at the exit.
Express parking is also going up. Covered parking rises from $21 a day to $23 with a TollTag or $25 by credit card. Uncovered Express parking goes from $18 to $20 with a TollTag or $22 by card. Remote parking remains $14 a day for TollTag customers but rises to $16 for those paying by credit card.

One of the most noticeable changes actually lowers the cost for drivers making a quick airport run.
A vehicle that stays on airport property between eight and 30 minutes currently pays $2. Beginning Oct. 1, that charge drops to $1 for TollTag users. Drivers paying by credit card will instead pay $3.
Longer waits to pick up a passenger will become more expensive. A 30-to-60-minute visit will cost $3 with a TollTag or $5 by card. Staying between one and two hours will cost $5 with a TollTag and $7 with a credit card. The current rate for any stay between 30 minutes and two hours is $3.
Drivers simply passing through DFW on International Parkway will also pay more. The airport’s current zero-to-eight-minute charge is $9. The new pass-through rate will be $12 with a TollTag or $15 by credit card.
Why DFW says rates are changing
DFW says the new structure is intended to encourage travelers to use TollTag and prebooked parking, both of which reduce transaction times at airport plazas.
The airport last raised its parking rates in 2024. DFW says material and labor costs have increased since then while the airport has also completed roadway projects including new bridges, right-hand terminal exits and other improvements along its road system.
DFW is self-supporting and uses revenue from parking, airline fees, concessions and other operations to maintain the airport and its infrastructure.
Travelers can avoid the full drive-up rates by booking parking before arriving. DFW says prebooked rates can be as much as 50% lower, and a TollTag is not required to reserve parking in advance.
The new rates take effect Oct. 1, 2026.
