DISD has top-rated high school in Texas

The latest U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools rankings evaluated nearly 2,300 public high schools across Texas. Dallas-Fort Worth area schools showed a strong presence on both the national and statewide leaderboards.

Dallas ISD’s School for the Talented and Gifted (TAG) anchored the region's placement by earning the #1 spot in Texas and #8 nationally. In addition, specialized magnet programs, charter schools, and public campuses across Tarrant, Collin, and Dallas counties secured high rankings statewide.
