Dallas (1080 KRLD) - School districts across DFW are dishing out bonuses to thank employees for working during the pandemic, while also encouraging them to return and to aid in recruitment.
The Duncanville ISD's school board approved one-time payments of $2,500 for full-time employees and increased hiring incensives and stipends. It is a similar story with the Irving ISD, which is giving a bonus of $2,000 to its returning employees and $1,000 bonuses to new hires.
In Dallas, DISD employees are getting a 2% raise and a $750 stipend. The Arlington and Mesquite ISD’s have approved similar bonuses as well.
