In response to a series of online threats targeting several North Texas school districts, significant changes are being made to Friday's high school football schedule.

According to KRLD's media partner NBC DFW, the adjustments include game cancellations, relocation to new venues, and enhanced security measures.

Dallas ISD has also rescheduled multiple games following a tragic incident last week. A Kimball High School junior varsity football player was fatally shot at a gas station near the stadium where South Oak Cliff and Duncanville were playing.

The increased security is aimed at ensuring the safety of students, staff, and spectators amidst heightened concerns.
