Downtown Dallas Inc has announced they are in full support of relocating the Dallas City Hall offices to another location.
However they want to explore economic development opportunities at the current site on Marilla Street.
Downtown Dallas Inc's CEO Jennifer Scripps said their board voted unanimously in support of advancing the work endorsed by members of the City Council Committee.
Scripps said Dallas City Hall is no longer serving its intended purpose and she added downtown has assets that could be creatively repurposed to improve customer service and remain accessible to the public City Hall serves.
