A gunman is on the run in Dallas where a driver was shot on the Corinth Street bridge over the Trinity River last night.
Police initially thought it was a bad crash. They found a car practically demolished on the bridge coming out of the Cedars neighborhood into the Cedar Crest area.
But when paramedics were caring for the driver they realized that person had been shot.
The hospital is not releasing any condition or other information.
Right now, it's not clear if the driver was shot first and then crashed or the other way around.
Either way, the shooter got away and the manhunt continues. The bridge was closed for much of the night for the investigation.
