Nearly two weeks after a fatal crash in Fort Worth, police have now arrested the driver of the car.

The victim was a passenger in the car driven by Darron Phillips on the morning of August 28th.

Police say he was going very fast on Stalcup Road near East Berry when he hit a dip, the car went airborne and slammed into a tree.

One of the passengers, Kevin Martinez, died at JPS Hospital nearly twelve hours later. Police say Phillips' blood was tested and based on those results he was arrested Thursday on a charge of intoxicated manslaughter.
