Grapevine police are still investigating a fatal crash that happened on Sunday in Grapevine.
Officials say the crash was caused when a van slammed into a bridge support on Highway 121 near Freeport Parkway. The crash was just before noon.
Reports say the van erupted in flames and police were not able to pull the driver out of the mangled wreckage. The Medical Examiner has not yet identified the victim who was the only one in the van.
Police say the van crossed all lanes on the northbound side of Hwy 121, but they do not know why.
