A driver has been charged in an early morning crash that killed her passenger in north Dallas this week.
Early Wednesday, the woman was driving south on the 75 Central service road near Coit when she crashed into a power pole and then ricocheted into a bridge support.
Her passenger was killed on impact while the driver was taken to Presbyterian hospital where she remains.
Once she's released from the hospital, she will be booked into the Dallas County jail on a charge of intoxicated manslaughter.
