DUNCANVILLE (1080 KRLD)- Duncanville High School has a September 10th game scheduled against an out-of-state team that is facing stiff criticism.

Bishop Sycamore is supposedly an on-line school based in Ohio, although no one can verify if it even has a campus. The team played in a nationally-televised ESPN game against Florida based IMG Academy on Sunday and the game was so one-sided that announcers ended up apologizing on-air.

The announcers suggested that the team lied about having a number of top-level high school recruits sought by college programs. There are also questions about whether Bishop Sycamore even qualifies as a school under Ohio law.

In any case, Duncanville's schedule still includes a game against Bishop Sycamore a week from Friday although there are calls for the game to canceled.
