Eagle Mountain Fire Department mourns death of member who died in a crash Wednesday

A member of the Eagle Mountain Lake Fire Department was killed in an accident early Wednesday morning.

Deputies with the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department were called out to an accident on Boat Club Road where a truck crashed into a utility pole.
Firefighters and paramedics worked to remove the driver, who was pronounced dead a short time later.

The Eagle Mountain Fire Department says the victim was a friend and a member of their department, Dalton Ingram.

He was only 26-years-old. On social media, the department is asking everyone to keep his family, friends and members of the department in your thoughts and prayers.

They say, "We're going to miss your dad jokes and fun-loving spirit that always filled the room. Rest easy, we'll take it from here."

Members of the Sheriff's Department Traffic Investigations Unit are working to figure out what caused the crash.
