We have more information on this morning's warehouse fire in West Dallas.
Firefighters were called about 5:30 a.m. and found flames and smoke spewing from Champion Waste Services, a recycling plant on Vinson Street near I-30 and Cockrell Hill Road. Dallas Fire-Rescue commanders report that one worker was inside the building and another was outside -- but neither one was hurt.
It took a little more than an hour to douse the fire in the warehouse which was packed with flammables like wood pallets and re-cyclable materials. Dallas Fire Lieutenant Jason Evans says investigators noted the heaviest fire damage on the West side of the building, but the exact cause of the fire is listed as undetermined.
