The municipal elections are right around the corner, and early voting starts today.
Voter turnout in Fort Worth and Arlington are expected to be extraordinarily high in this election cycle, as voters in both of those cities will be electing new mayors.
Fort Worth voters have ten candidates to choose from, while Arlington voters are choosing from a field of 17.
Also, people in parts of Tarrant, Ellis and Navarro Counties will be voting in a special election to replace the late Ron Wright in the Sixth Congressional District. 12, including Wright's widow, are vying for that seat.
Early voting ends April 27th, and Election Day is May 1st.
