EarthX 2026: from a local fair to a global summit

EarthX Conference coming to Hilton Anatole in Dallas

Gemini

EarthX, the world’s largest environmental expo, is returning to Dallas this month! What began as a small Earth Day celebration on Flora Street in the Dallas Arts District has evolved into a global "Congress of Conferences" held at the Hilton Anatole.

In a recent interview, EarthX CEO Peter Simek shared how the event has transformed since the pandemic. "We lean into our Texas roots," Simek explained, highlighting EarthX's unique ability to bring together voices from across the political and professional spectrum—from sustainable business leaders to grassroots advocates.

What’s New for 2026?

This year’s EarthX features over 20 specialized conferences over three days, including:

  • The E-Capital Summit: Connecting investors with innovative startups focused on environmental solutions.
  • A Focus on Nuclear Energy: Discussion on Texas' leadership in nuclear research and policy, featuring representatives from states like Colorado, New York, and Washington.
  • Conservation Initiatives: Leveraging international organizations to help preserve biodiversity in Dallas' own backyard.

Bipartisan Action

EarthX is a hub for "good faith conversation and common ground debate." Simek noted that past EarthX events have even sparked the formation of a bipartisan energy caucus in the U.S. Congress. This year’s speaker lineup continues that tradition, featuring figures like:

  • Ed Russo, Chairman of the White House Task Force on the Environment.
  • Ken Salazar, former Secretary of the Interior.
  • State legislators from both parties across five different states.

A Celebration of Our Planet

While there’s plenty of policy and investment talk, EarthX remains a celebration at heart. Public programming this year features legendary explorers like Bob Ballard (who discovered the Titanic) and famed oceanographer Sylvia Earle.

Ready to join the conversation? EarthX 2026 kicks off the week of April 20th at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. Visit EarthX.org for the full schedule and registration details!
