The elderly man killed while crossing a street in Arlington this week has now been identified.
Police say Curtis Veneralle died after being struck by a car near Arkansas and Fielder Road. The 82-year-old Veneralle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Arlington police say no charges have been filed against the driver who did stop and remain at the scene as required by law.
Police also point out it was after dark and Veneralle was not in a cross walk.
