An elderly Montague County man has died in a Wise County crash.
DPS officials confirm 83-year-old Bowie resident Ray Vinyard was the passenger in the pick-up truck that crashed and rolled on Highway 287 near Esson-Nivens Road. He died at the scene.
The driver was a 57-year-old woman, also from Bowie. She was rushed to Harris Methodist in Fort Worth where she was reported to be in stable condition.
DPS investigators say the pavement was wet at the time but they're not saying if that was a factor in the crash.
