An electric scooter rider is recovering after getting hit by a DART train Thursday.
DART officials say the Orange Lane train was heading south near Olive Street when the rider was struck.
The victim was taken to Baylor with injuries considered to be non-life threatening.
It was just Wednesday when rental electric scooters were returned to the streets of Dallas. But it's not clear if the one involved in yesterday's incident was rented or owned by the rider.
