Elon Musk has announced plans for a second rocket engine factory for SpaceX to be built near Waco. Musk tweeted the news Saturday saying groundbreaking will come soon.
Space X currently has an engine factory in McGregor which is just south of Waco.
Musk says this will be the most advanced rocket engine factory in the world and could produce up to a thousand engines per year. He went on to say he hopes to build a self-sustaining city on Mars by 2050.
