There was some highly emotional testimony in the trial of a North Texas man charged in connection with the insurrection at the US Capitol.

Guy Reffitt of Wylie was in tears when his son Jackson testified against him, and that testimony that will continue today.
Jackson Reffitt has already told the jury he had become concerned about his father's rhetoric in the weeks between the election and the January 6th uprising.
He told the jury when he saw the TV images of the riot he began texting his father who was at the scene. The teenage son said he was telling his father to believe in the system even though the father was railing about a stolen election.
It was Jackson Reffitt who turned in his father, telling the jury he "felt creepy" googling how to do it. And he said his father had threatened him and his sister.
As Jackson Reffitt took the witness stand, defendant Guy Reffitt began sobbing, turning to his wife in the audience. She motioned for him to calm down.
