EULESS (1080 KRLD)- An incident at a Euless swimming pool has a woman facing attempted capital murder charges.
Witnesses say 42-year-old Elizabeth Wolf was highly intoxicated and tried to drown another woman's daughter. The incident occurred May 19th at an apartment complex pool off of Highway 360.
According to those at the scene, Wolf tried to drown a three-year-old girl after a six-year-old boy escaped her grasp. The children's mother alleges Wolf made racial statements about her not being an American.
At a news conference Saturday morning the Council on American Islamic Relations along with state lawmakers are calling on authorities to investigate as a hate crime.
