Everman City Council consider naming park to honor missing boy

As the search continues for Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez from Everman, the city council is considering naming a new park after him. For months police and volunteers have been searching for the six year old who has been missing since last November and is feared dead.

Investigators said they are still following leads in the case but now the city council wants to honor the boy by naming a new inclusive playground after him.
The new playground will have specialized equipment for kids who have physical, social and developmental challenges like Noel.
The city council will vote on the naming resolution tomorrow and it is expected to pass.
