Have you looked at the soil around your home? If you don't regularly water, there's a good chance there could be a gap because we haven't had rain in so long. And it doesn't matter what month it is, Phil Pieri of Brown Foundation repair says it needs attention.
So, you know the drill, soaker hose a couple of times a week. Pieri says to start now so that by the time it rains, that gap is gone and you don't get damage.
