Family seeks answers in Halloween murder of SMU student, reward offered

The family of an SMU student killed in Dallas last weekend is making a website dedicated to finding the killer.

The parents of SMU student Robert Urrea, better known as Jaden, say their son was shot at random, by a stranger in downtown Dallas and they're asking for help tracking the killer down.

Urrea was killed early in the morning on October 31st, on his way back from a Halloween party.

Police say surveillance video shows Urrea walking up to a white 4 door car at the intersection of South Harwood and Jackson Street, and as the car drives away, he's seen falling to the ground.

Urrea's parents are asking for help finding the killer. They've even launched a website, jadenurrea.com, where people can report tips and see surveillance video of the incident.

Crime stoppers is offering a reward up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest.
