Get ready for hobbits, superheroes, sci-fi stars and plenty of costumes.
FAN EXPO Dallas returns Sept. 11-13 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, bringing tens of thousands of fans together for a weekend packed with celebrities, reunions, gaming, shopping and cosplay.
The celebrity lineup includes Nicolas Cage, Mel Gibson, Elijah Wood, Karl Urban, Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland and Sean Astin.
Fans can also catch cast reunions from The Lord of the Rings, The Goonies, The Boys, Lost, Young Guns, Hocus Pocus and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
One of the weekend's biggest attractions will be “An Evening with the Hobbits,” celebrating 25 years of The Lord of the Rings, followed by a Sunday morning “Second Breakfast” with the hobbits.
The three-day event also will feature panels, photo ops, autographs, comic creators, voice actors, workshops and exhibitors.
“FAN EXPO has always been about bringing different fandoms together, but this year’s guest list takes that idea to another level,” said Andrew Moyes, Vice President of FAN EXPO HQ. “You can come because you love The Lord of the Rings and discover that some of those same guests connect you to The Boys, Lost, and The Goonies. You can be a Young Guns fan and suddenly find yourself at a Lost Boys reunion. That shared history is what makes this weekend so much fun — every fan is going to find a connection they weren’t expecting.”
FAN EXPO Dallas 2026 takes place September 11–13 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
Show hours are Friday from 4–9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.–7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.–5 p.m., with a special Friday preview beginning at 2 p.m. for eligible advance pass holders.
