Reports say a funnel cloud touched down near Leonard, about 30 miles northeast of McKinney, destroying some barns and out-buildings.

A structure fire in Honey Grove is blamed on trees taking down power lines.

On Highway 69 in Leonard, a vehicle towing an RV trailer overturned.

Power was out around Leonard, Trenton and Blue Ridge.

In the Blue Ridge outage, the tornado tossed a tractor into a power pole.

Crews from the National Weather Service will be out today surveying the damage.
