The FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man wanted in connection with two 2024 homicides in Irving.
Hector Vicente Paguada Paguada is accused of shooting and killing two women on Jan. 19, 2024, in front of the 5-year-old son of one of the victims, according to the FBI.
Investigators say Paguada Paguada fled the United States with help from others after the killings and is believed to be in Honduras. He has used several aliases, including Hector Antonio Matute and Hector Martinez.
A state arrest warrant charging him with capital murder was issued in January 2024. A federal warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued the following month.
“Today, the FBI is announcing a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Hector Vicente Paguada Paguada. We ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the FBI,” said FBI Dallas Special Agent in Charge R. Joseph Rothrock.
“The families of these victims have waited more than two years for justice, and our commitment to them has never wavered. We will not stop pursuing Hector Paguada Paguada until he is found and held accountable,” said Derick Miller, Chief of the Irving Police Department. “We urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward. One tip could make all the difference in bringing justice to these families.”
