A report by the FBI's Dallas field office warns that extremist groups could increase the threat of violence in North Texas, especially between Election Day and the presidential inauguration.
The field office sent the report to local law enforcement saying the fringe boogaloo movement is likely to step up anti-government rhetoric and criminal activities and that it will incite other extremist groups to do the same.
It says assessments were made with "medium confidence" based on law enforcement reports, social media posts and sources inside and outside law enforcement, including some people with direct access to the boogaloo movement.
