Some fans planning to attend World Cup matches are pushing back on social media over a last-minute rule change from FIFA.
As of now, FIFA will not allow fans to bring reusable water bottles inside the stadiums for matches.
This changes the original rule which would have allowed it.
Now, fans wanting bottled water will have to buy it at the stadium. Some fans are criticizing the decision claiming it was a money-grab.
This causes some concern given that many of the host cities are in areas where the afternoon temperature in June and July can become dangerous if dehydrated.
FIFA says the rule-change was to reduce risk of injury to both players and fans.
