FIFA says the demand from the latest round of ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup has reached an unprecedented level with more than half-a-billion requests submitted during the latest phase which ended this week.
Requests were made from all countries and territories where FIFA operates.
Outside of the host countries in North America, the highest interest came from Germany, England, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, and Colombia.
Those who requested tickets should know if they were approved by February 5th.
FIFA will verify requests meet the application requirements and will also filter through the household limits set on how many tickets someone can get.
Dallas and Houston are host cities in Texas with AT&T Stadium in Arlington hosting more matches than any other city this year.
