FIFA will be using artificial intelligence during the upcoming World Cup across North America this year.
It will be used mostly through what the referee sees through their body cameras and that footage will be used in video assist and also through the live broadcast.
FIFA has partnered with the tech group Lenovo to make it possible to do this.
AI will help in offside decisions made through the video assistant referee system and that same footage will be utilized during the host broadcast of the matches.
They tested this last year during the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
Dallas and Houston will represent Texas as host cities.
AT&T Stadium will host nine matches and NRG Stadium will host seven.
