A massive fire at an automobile auction facility in Denton County early Sunday morning remains under investigation.
The fire happened at the IAA storage yard on McPherson Road in Justin. Denton County Emergency Management Fire Chief Ricky Vaughan tells NBC 5 his crews responded thinking they were headed to a grass fire, but when they got there, they found something else entirely.
Flowermound Fire, Joustin Volunteer Fire Department, Roanoke Fire, Tarrant County Emergency Services and City of Denton Fire Department were brought in to assist, according to NBC 5.
All American Towing was able to move vehicles and create a fire break in the lot. In all, 58 vehicles were damaged.
