Two-alarm fire at Fort Worth apartment complex under control, around 35 residents displaced

FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD)- A two-alarm apartment fire in Fort Worth is under control, but many people lost their homes because of it.

The fire broke out around 1 Tuesday afternoon at a complex in East Fort Worth, South of I-30 along Brentwood Stair Road. When crews got on the scene they had to go defensive, but they were able to rescue two dogs.

Nobody was hurt and no word yet on how the fire started. But Fort Worth Fire says all 8 units were completely destroyed now displacing around 35 people.
