CLEBURNE (1080 KRLD)- Investigators are still looking for the cause of the fire that destroyed a landmark restaurant in Cleburne Monday.
The Mexican eatery La Fiesta started out as Jose's but was sold in 2000 and the new owners re-named it. Mayor Scott Cain calls it "...a sad day for Cleburne." "..like many others, I waited tables there."
The Cleburne Fire Department says fire crews found the fire very far advanced and the building was very unstable, forcing firefighters to battle the flames from the outside.
Despite the destruction, no injuries were reported.
